What You Need To Know About Me

Acquiring Sensi Seeds Northern Lights in the U.S.

The adpc ng had been inundated with "Me Too" AOLer's in an Eternal September and by the end of the 90's, it had degenerated into constant flame wars. MH vs. HPS, Soil vs. Hydro, Organic vs. Chemical discussions were more about slamming your dick/clit (yes there are women growers) on the table and impressing newbies with your knowledge than it was about just answering the fucking question. Respect to Edith, Ratchet and AKA for keeping it real. Also, gratitude to ph and NPKaye who did their best. I didn't grow like they grew (hydro/ScrOG) but I did appreciate how they presented their reasoning. Funny thing, I always learn more from those who I disagree with than those who always agree with me.

Overgrow.com was getting a lot of hype but the thought of using a centralized, God forbid, moderated forum was repugnant to me. Usenet was de-centralized, un-moderated and totally open, so you could post whatever the fuck you wanted and no one could "flag" it or take it down. The Web forums offered flashy, blinky GIF's of cute little emoticons where the "moderators" decided what got posted and what didn't. I declined to participate in that environment.

I recognized many a nym-shifting POS by their writing style from adpc, who did nothing but repost info readily available on Usenet to impress everyone with "their" knowledge and gain Karma points. How pathetic. They would never give attribution where the info came from, cut 'n paste gurus from the AOL crowd really impressed the overgrow newbies.

Here is an attribution:

"UseNet is one of the most amazing phenomenon I have ever seen: a dynamic synthesis of human knowledge, thought, and understanding... but as the human spirit soars to unimaginable heights, so does it wallow in the gutter of depravity with equal, if not greater joy"

You give credit where credit is due. Anyway, the Seed Bank section of overgrow.com was moderated by someone with the nym Gypsy Nirvana. Long story short, he would ship to the US and wasn't in BC or the NL but the UK, so no extra scrutiny from US Customs. He also guaranteed a Sensi unopened package of Northern Lights. A transaction was safely and successfully completed

Paid $120 USD for 10 seeds and they all sprouted, thrived and produced 6 females and four males. Very uniform with virtually no distinction between them, so I selected one male and one female to produce seeds. I only kept the two plants, I wanted all future generations to come from only one male and one female. It was a very successful mating, I couldn't wait to start F2 to see just how good it was going to be.

My F2 generation of Northern Lights was extraordinary. Short, stout, sturdy plants with massive, dense buds. Most importantly, it made me feel good. There is something about the feeling that Northern Lights gives me that is unlike any other variety of cannabis. It calms and relaxes me in a very special way. My first harvest were typical Christmas trees that produced more quality buds than any of my previous indoor grows. Now it was time to experiment with cloning and learn how to develop my plants right.

Damn, re-reading this I realize there's a bit of a edge to this section, isn't there?
